GET TO KNOW ME — IF YOU DARE._

CS @ Stony Brook  //  Cybersecurity Focus
Security Researcher  //  Builder of things that shouldn't exist

I love dismantling things to see how they work and put them back together. I started with RC cars, moved on to laptops, and now I break and analyze code and security protocols. Breaking things has never been this interesting. When I started CS, I thought it did not suit me, but security classes hooked me, because I can use my skills and knowledge to break, create, and fix things in the most interesting way. I then took more security classes and started doing research. I want to further my studies, dive deeper into the field, gain industry experience, and contribute to something meaningful.

PROJECTS

PROJECT_01 //
ARGUS — PASSIVE NETWORK TRAFFIC ANALYZER
Built a passive network sniffer on Kali Linux using Scapy with port-agnostic protocol detection for DNS, HTTP, and TLS traffic. Engineered dissection logic to extract DNS query names, HTTP methods/URIs, and TLS SNI fields from raw packet captures. Operates in promiscuous mode — captures and classifies live traffic without injecting packets.
PYTHONSCAPYKALI LINUXNETWORK SECURITY
PROJECT_02 //
SECURE PASSWORD VAULT
Encrypted password manager using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption for confidentiality and integrity of stored credentials. Keys derived from a master password via PBKDF2 with random salt — protecting against brute-force attacks. Per-entry nonces prevent IV reuse across encryption operations.
PYTHONAES-256-GCMPBKDF2CRYPTOGRAPHY
PROJECT_03 //
SECURE WEB APP DEPLOYMENT & VULNERABILITY REMEDIATION
Deployed and hardened a production web server on Ubuntu Linux with Apache, MySQL, and PHP. Implemented TLS/SSL via Let's Encrypt and remediated OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities — XSS, SQL injection, and CSRF. Configured fail2ban with iptables to block brute-force SSH attacks with automatic IP bans.

WORK

AUG 2025 —
NOV 2025
GENERATIVE AI ENGINEER INTERN
// NEURALSEEK (REMOTE)
Built AI agent demos for customer service automation across healthcare, finance, and education using a RAG platform. Conducted alpha testing across 100+ queries and developed a Python evaluation framework using semantic similarity scoring and Jupyter visualizations to track performance regressions.
NOV 2024 —
PRESENT
UNDERGRADUATE SECURITY RESEARCH ASSISTANT
// STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY — CSE DEPT.
Engineered a Python pipeline parsing compressed Debian repositories and CVE databases to extract configuration-dependent vulnerabilities. Developed a GPT-4 powered classification system with structured prompting and JSON schema validation to reduce false positives in vulnerability scanning. Working toward a publication-ready research paper.
2024 —
PRESENT
TEACHING ASSISTANT — CSE 114
// STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY
TA for Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming. Supporting students with coursework, labs, and debugging sessions.
2023 —
PRESENT
RESIDENT ADVISOR
// STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY
Community building, conflict resolution, and supporting student well-being in residential life on campus.
